WordRise Terms of Use (Draft)

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using WordRise, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Service description
WordRise helps users practice English vocabulary through daily words, quizzes, progress tracking, and reminders. Content is organized by CEFR levels (A1–C2).
3. Educational use only
WordRise is a learning aid. We do not guarantee fluency, exam results, or any specific language outcome. You are responsible for how you use the app alongside other learning methods.
4. Account responsibility
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- Keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us at wordrise.support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
- Attempt to access other users’ data
- Upload malicious content or automate abusive requests
- Use the app for unlawful purposes
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Content and intellectual property
WordRise word content, design, and software are protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app for learning.
7. Ads
When enabled, third-party ads (e.g. Google AdMob) may appear. Ad content is provided by third parties; WordRise is not responsible for advertised products or services.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with or without notice. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
9. Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORDRISE AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP.

You may delete your account in the app. See Account Deletion.
